What we’re about
Vibe Code Minnesota is a local meetup group for people who want to learn, practice, and explore “vibe coding” — a creative, intuitive approach to building with code that blends technical skill with flow, experimentation, and human-centered thinking.
Group Goal
The goal of Vibe Code Minnesota is to create a supportive community where people can learn to code (or code better) by focusing on momentum, creativity, and real-world building rather than rigid rules or perfection. The group emphasizes learning by doing, collaborating, and staying in the “vibe” while shipping projects.
Who We’re Hoping to Meet
• Beginners who want a less intimidating way to learn coding
• Developers who want to reconnect with creativity and flow
• Designers, founders, and makers interested in building with code
• Anyone curious about AI-assisted coding, rapid prototyping, or experimental workflows
• People who enjoy learning alongside others in a relaxed, inclusive environment
No experience level is required — curiosity and openness matter more than credentials.
What We’ll Do at Events
• Live vibe coding sessions (solo and collaborative)
• Guided build-alongs using modern tools, AI, and frameworks
• Casual project jams and hack nights
• Show-and-tell demos of works in progress
• Discussions on mindset, workflow, and creative coding practices
• Occasional talks or workshops from local builders
Events are hands-on, low-pressure, and focused on learning through momentum rather than lectures. The goal is to leave each meetup having built something, learned something, or met someone new.
