Adams Park, 4225 Washington Street, Boston, MA, USReady to get drenched in color? ✨
Holi is the legendary "Festival of Colors, Love, and Spring." It’s a joyous celebration of unity, the triumph of good over evil, and the arrival of a new season. I had so much fun last time that I knew I couldn't let our group miss it this year!Join us at Adams Park for Holi Mela, hosted by Shanti Restaurant. It’s going to be an afternoon of: live Indian music & DJs, stunning dance performances, delicious food stalls, vibrant colored power throwing & kid’s crafts! ✨🇮🇳 ✨• ● 🇮🇳 ● •✨🇮🇳 ✨
What You Need to Know:
- Admission: This festival is absolutely FREE and open to everyone!
- What to Wear: Wear WHITE to make the colors pop (or solid dark colors)!
- Pro-tip: Bring sunglasses to keep the powder out of your eyes. 🕶️
- Tickets: Food, drinks, and color powder are purchased via tickets onsite. Most people find 2-3 tickets are perfect for the day.
- More info from Shanti Restaurant are found here and here.
Host Note: I am sharing this event so our community can experience it together! Please keep in mind that I am simply a Meetup host; because Holi is famously crowded, vibrant, and a bit chaotic, consider this a "self-guided" meetup.
I cannot be liable for locating members in the large crowd or responsible if we get separated during the festivities. I encourage you to bring friends and plus-ones to explore the festival together! Let’s celebrate togetherness and help fill the park with vibrant colors!

Japan Festival! (Boston Commons)
Boston Commons, 139 Tremont St, Boston, MA, USThe Japan Festival Boston will once again be organized by the historic Boston Common on Saturday, April 25th, to Sunday, April 26th. (If I am able to go then I'll post when and where in the comment section below; other wise this will be meetup/host-less. There will be performers, food vendors, cultural events, and more!
Japan’s traditional festival is a place to thank gods for their blessings and gather on special occasions with friends and family, serving as a catalyst for bonding communities. We would like to create our version of this festival here in Boston.
This festival provides an opportunity for attendees to learn about Japan and its culture. By learning and understanding culture, the fear of the unknown disappears and has the power to form a bond, connecting people of various cultures and backgrounds to build a foundation for peace.
Check out the video here, it is always so much fun to experience others culture yet realize we are all the same. So come and join us.
Friendly reminder: This is a public festival I’ve posted so we can enjoy it together as a group. I am simply the Meetup point person, not the creator or organizer of the festival itself. Since these events are huge and crowded, please note that I am not responsible for finding individuals or for anyone getting separated from the group. I’ll do my best to set a meeting spot, but please grab your friends and family and enjoy the festivities at your own pace!
