Build School Demo Night: Cohort 2

Tribe Social Club - Cowork, Bar, Events, Praça Luís de Camões 22, 1200-208, Lisboa, PT

Join us for the culmination of Build School Cohort 2 as non-technical founders publicly demo the working applications they built from scratch.
No computer science background. No engineering training. Just ideas, determination, and a willingness to learn.
And yet, tonight they're launching live products.

    ## What's Different About Cohort 2

Build School Cohort 2 benefited from a completely refined curriculum based on everything we learned in Cohort 1:

    ### Self-Paced Video Course

Students now have access to a comprehensive video curriculum they can work through on their own schedule. For highly motivated learners, this means dramatically accelerated timelines.
Case in point: Ben Lakoff completed the entire course and shipped a working application in just two days. Not two weeks. Two days. The self-paced format means motivated builders can move as fast as their ambition takes them.

    ### More Advanced Projects

With the foundational concepts available on-demand, our live sessions focused on advanced techniques and individual project challenges. The result? More sophisticated applications than we saw in Cohort 1.

    ### The Ralph Wiggum Technique

Cohort 2 students learned our new autonomous build loop methodology - allowing AI to run continuous development cycles while they sleep. This is cutting-edge stuff that dramatically accelerates what's possible.

    ## What You'll See

Live Product Demos from each student, including:

    • Working applications deployed to production
    • Real user interfaces, real databases, real functionality
    • The journey from "I have an idea" to "here's my app"

Each demo tells a transformation story. These aren't mockups or prototypes - these are functional applications built by people who couldn't code eight weeks ago.

    ## Why You Should Come

    ### ✅ Get Inspired

If they can do it, you can too. Watch ordinary Lisbon peeps - marketers, consultants, entrepreneurs - demo applications they built themselves. No technical background required. Just proof of what's possible in 2026.

    ### ✅ See What's Achievable

Thinking about building an app? See exactly what's realistic in a short timeframe. Get honest answers about the process, the challenges, and what it actually takes.

    ### ✅ Meet the Builders

Talk directly with the cohort after demos. Ask about their experience, their tools, their mistakes. These are people just like you who decided to stop waiting and start building.

    ### ✅ Learn About Cohort 3

Build School Cohort 3 starts March 9th. This is your chance to meet the instructor (Sean), see the results firsthand, and decide if it's right for your project.

    ### ✅ Celebrate With Us

This is a community milestone. Come raise a glass to people who shipped real products and join Lisbon's most active builder community.

    ## About Build School

Build School is an intensive cohort where non-technical founders learn to ship working MVPs using AI development tools like Claude Code and Cursor.
    What makes it work:

    • Self-paced video curriculum you can complete at your own speed
    • Live office hours (Monday & Wednesday evenings) for hands-on help
    • Friday in-person cowork sessions in Lisbon
    • Small cohort size (5-6 people) for direct mentorship
    • Culminates in Demo Night where you launch publicly

    Cohort 2 ran January 12 – February 13, 2026.
    Cohort 3 starts March 9th, 2026.

    ## The Bottom Line

Eight weeks ago, these builders had ideas. Tonight, they have apps.
Come see what's possible when you stop waiting for a technical co-founder and start building yourself.
