Nocode Lisboa #13: Using AI tools to build an app in 2hrs

Sean Tierney, founder of Stone Soup and Open Startup Community will do a "live cooking" completely improvised demonstration building a working web app of the audience's choosing. This will be a safari of different AI builder tools and techniques for rapidly building prototype applications and then turning them into Github repo's, running the code locally and using more advanced tools to extend the feature set.
We'll be using these tools:

• Bolt / Netlify
• v0 / Supabase / Talktastic
• CursorAI / Claude / Cloudflare

Overall you'll learn:
- Painting in broad strokes using Bolt.new to get started
- Deploying the app to Netlify
- Bringing the project into source control via Github
- Pulling the code down to your laptop for local development
- Using tools like Cursor and Windsurf for extending the app
- Using Claude as your CTO to make architectural improvements
- Hacks with Cursor for getting better output including flattening your project and using a /Guidance folder

We have a special twist to this new format: at the end of the night we'll take whatever app we built and load it into Open Startup Community for further development for those who wish to continue working on them via our monthly jam sessions. This event is free to attend but registration is required. Capped at 80 max attendees first-come-first-serve.
