What we’re about

Vibrant Trails STL (women ages 30-45)

Bottom Line Up Front: We show up prepared & leave no trace. We lift each other up with kindness, celebrate our diverse strengths, & create a safe, supportive space for all hikers.

Do you love to hike or just generally love fitness and movement like I do? Are you ready to embrace the great outdoors, connect with like-minded women, & discover the beauty of nature? Join me & the Vibrant Trails STL team - an exciting community designed for adventurous women aged 30-45 who want to explore hiking trails, build lasting friendships, & promote a healthy, active lifestyle.

This group is all about creating a supportive & welcoming environment where women can come together, share experiences, & inspire one another to step outside their comfort zones. Whether you're a seasoned hiker or just starting out, you'll find a space to grow, learn, & have fun while enjoying stunning views & fresh air.

At least each month, I will organize hikes (and more) of varying difficulty levels, ensuring everyone can participate & enjoy the journey. From scenic strolls to challenging treks, this is all about encouraging each other to reach new heights while building connections, community, & fitness.

As part of Vibrant Trails STL, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Meet new friends & foster meaningful connections
  • Share your love for the outdoors, hiking, camping, & more
  • Inspire & support each other in a positive, empowering space

If you’re looking to step outside, breathe in the beauty of nature, & build lasting memories with other incredible women, then Vibrant Trails STL is most definitely the group for you! Join me & lace your hiking boots, hit the trails, & help propel a community where every hike is an adventure & every member is valued. Let's get outside together! 🌲💚

## TEAM VALUES 🌸 Our Supportive Space 🌸

Arrive on time, come fully prepared, & leave no trace. Bring the essentials: appropriate footwear, weather-appropriate layers, hydration, snacks, sun protection, & a personal first aid kit.

Ask all questions before the event if you’re unsure. Clear communication prevents surprises & helps the group prepare thoughtfully.

No pets unless absolutely necessary. Please inform the organizer well in advance for approval & coordination. Only 1 pet per event for safety & liability.

+1 Policy: For safety and group cohesion, no +1s are allowed without prior approval, and only when truly necessary. All guests must be known to the organizer before the event. This group is designed as a women‑only space to connect, build friendships, and enjoy time together without outside distractions. For that reason, we limit partners, family members, and children on hikes. We will host occasional events where families or partners are welcome, but our standard hikes are for women only. If your +1 is a friend, they should fall within the group’s age range. Anyone who wants to attend regularly will need to officially join the group on Meetup.

Attend at least 1 day event before an overnight trip. This builds trust, camaraderie, & confidence in the group.

Safety is shared:
- Know the route & follow organizer guidance.
- Carry a whistle or personal alarm, keep your phone charged, & share your emergency contacts. Inform the organizer discretely about any health concerns or medications needed (if you prefer).

Respect & kindness above all:
- Speak kindly—no negative or put-down talk about others; 1 strike & you’re out.
- Listen empathetically; every voice matters. Give space for differing opinions or needs.
- Celebrate, respect, & embrace all forms of diversity—race, culture, body type, ability, & experience level. We are women supporting women, always.

Support and awareness:
- Encourage & mentor new members. Offer help without judgment.
- Pay attention to everyone’s pace & comfort—stop for breaks as needed, & never leave anyone behind.
- Stay situationally aware: limit headphone use, watch for wildlife, & follow trail etiquette. If something feels off, trust instincts—communicate & help make group decisions quickly.

Trail etiquette:
- Yield to uphill hikers, step aside for others, & respect nature & other trail users.
- Leave only footprints—pack out everything you bring in.
- Keep exact routes & real-time locations private on social media until after the hike, for group safety.

Please do not use the name Vibrant Trails when making any merchandise or items without prior approval from the organizer.

💖 Together, we create a space that is safe, inclusive, & empowering for all.

SEE YOU ON THE TRAIL!
