Run Thru History

Please join members of the Vicksburg Social Club for the 43rd annual "Vicksburg Run Thru History" 10-K road race on Saturday March 5, 2022 at the Vicksburg National Military Park located at 3201 Clay Street Vicksburg, Mississippi 39183.

The Vicksburg Run Thru History 10K road race is held every year, rain or shine, on the first Saturday in March. Since the first 10K race in 1980, the race has grown each year and now is one of Mississippi's largest road races. A 1 mile event was added in 1985 and a 5K event was added in 1989.

As usual, there will be the obligatory quaffing of cold refreshing adult beverages at the post race party.

Parking will be available at the Vicksburg Hampton Inn and Suites, along Clay Street, along Old Highway 27, and along the I-20 Frontage Road.

Race packet pickup will be on Friday, March 4th at the Vicksburg Hampton Inn and Suites from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm and also on race day near the starting line.
