Details

If you're interested in history, horology, technology, and museums, then it's time to visit the Hoffman Clock Museum. Curator Dave Richardson will guide us through this amazing time-keeping collection, which is located in a wing of the Newark Public Library. Space is limited. Set your watches, and don't be late!

UPDATE
Due to limited space, and keen interest, we arranged to accomodate more attendees, and split them between a tour of the Hoffman Clock Museum, and the Newark-Arcadia Historical Society, which is directly across the street. You will get to see both museums! Chris Davis of the Newark-Arcadia Historical Society has graciously agreed to guide us through their facility. A recent addition includes a working vehicle from the brass radiator era. It's a Browniekar built by Omar Motor Car Co., a subsidiary of the Mora Motor Car Co. of Newark, NY circa 1910 - one of only three known examples.

Each tour will last about 40-50 minutes depending on questions, etc. When the first tours are complete, we walk across the street to take the other tour.

YET ANOTHER UPDATE
Due to a scheduling SNAFU we need to start the tours at 11:30 AM because the clock museum closes at 1:00 PM. Sorry for any inconvenience.

11:15 a.m.
Meet at the Hoffman Clock Museum, and split into two groups.
