# Butterfly Beltway Garden Installation and Informational Program In-Person

The Seneca Park Zoo's Butterfly Beltway program is coming to the VFL! Garden space outside of the Malone Room was prepared in September 2025 for additional native plants and to provide habitat for local pollinators (see attached photo). Staff from the zoo will be joining us for a short program on the importance of pollinator gardens, highlighting our struggling migratory monarch butterflies. We will then plant a variety of pollinator friendly plants in our new garden. The zoo crew will leave us with a sign to let everyone know we are now one a bona fide Butterfly Beltway garden! Please join us for this exciting program and to learn more about native pollinators.
