Welcome to Victoria Remote Work Social & Accountability Group!
Are you a remote worker in Victoria who would rather not spend every day cooped up at home? Do you crave the energy that comes with working around others, even if you don’t work for the same company? This group is for anyone who loves the flexibility of remote work but misses the camaraderie and motivation of being around fellow workers.
Why Join?
Spark Motivation: Working remotely can be rewarding, but self-motivation gets tough when you’re always flying solo. By meeting up and co-working together, we can help each other stay focused, productive, and accountable.
Social Connection: Not everyone wants to work in silence! Whether you live alone or just like having friendly faces nearby, this group will offer a way to break up the day and feel connected, even while getting things done.
Explore Victoria’s Cafés: We'll support local restaurants and coffee shops that welcome remote workers. They get our business, as purchases are required by each attendee, and we get friendly space and stimulating environments to work in.
Flexible, Supportive Community: We aren’t a networking or business group, just a gathering of remote workers supporting each other’s routines and work habits. All industries and backgrounds are welcome!
How It Works...
Meet Ups: Monday to Friday, choose the days that suit you.
Co-Work Sessions: Drop in anytime during the hours posted.
Locations: We plan to circulate between Victoria's best remote work-friendly cafés and eateries.
Structure: Come for part or all of the session. No pressure, just mutual encouragement.
