Calling all 5th Edition Dungeons & Dragons players!

Trouble with Troglodytes - is just the third adventure of our custom D&D campaign right here in Victoria, BC. We will be playing IN PERSON at "Board with Friends Cafe".

Join us! This event is for brand new players to the campaign and those of us who have attended our earlier events! The campaign style is an ode to classic D&D, in the style of adventures like "Caves of Chaos", "Phandelver" and "Village of Homlet".

You start at level 1! Those of you who played last week, you can bring your level 2 characters to this adventure! Your experience will track throughout the campaign!

We use a campaign style that makes it easy to drop-in and drop-out of each session, as each adventure is "self-contained", meaning you are not committed to make it to every session each week.

Meet new people! Learn to play!

We will be using classic 2014 5th Edition rules. If you wish to pre-roll your character use the standard array and please keep your choices to classes/feats/species listed in the 2014 Player's Handbook!

If you are new and never rolled a character before, no worries we got you covered, (although installing the D&D Beyond app to your phone will be useful)!

Trouble with Troglodytes - A mysterious and ancient petrified tree has been discovered in the Muddy Ponds along the wet northern shore of the James River. A Halfling adventurer went to investigate, but never returned. The Ponds are known to be infested with Troglodytes! Your mission: Rescue the Halfling and collect a sample of the ancient tree for the Druids to examine!

The contracting company Davis & Hoffman are willing to pay GOOD MONEY for those brave enough to venture into the Muddy Ponds and gather a sample of this ancient, mystical tree!
