Firstly, please ensure that you have notifications turned on for our group & events.

RSVPs:
When signing up for a walk, you need to RSVP as Going or join the waitlist. If you have a change of plans and cannot attend you must change your RSVP to Not Going as soon as possible. If you are undecided, please make your final decision by noon on the day before the walk. This will allow another member time to plan to attend. There is no need to RSVP No unless you are on the Going or Waitlist.

Waitlist:
1) It is important to check your notifications if you are on the waitlist.
2) If you are on the waitlist, you still need to cancel if you no longer want to attend. Otherwise, you could be put onto the event at the last minute. If that happens and you don't attend, it would be considered a no-show. This would also prevent a member who would like to attend from getting onto the walk.
*** Please note: after 3 no-shows you will be removed from the group without notice ***
3) Don't worry about being on a long waitlist. Some members sign up as soon as the walk is posted, and things come up during the week that prevent them from attending.

Dogs & Children:
Our walks are not suitable for dogs or children.

Walk Etiquette:
1) Always stay behind or beside the leader and keep with the group.
2) Be aware of other people or groups using the trail and move to one side to allow them to pass.
3) If we are walking on a road, make sure you are walking on the same side as the rest of the group so we can all step to the same side to allow vehicles to pass.
4) If you must leave a walk before we return to the starting point be sure to let the leader know you are leaving.
