Paddle for the Coast

This Saturday at 10 am (December 14, 2019), there is going to be a Paddler's Armada going from Banfield Park in the Gorge to the Victoria Inner Harbour and back for a community lunch. The purpose of this event is to raise funds for the First Nations in their legal fight against the disastrous Trans-Mountain Pipeline Expansion, including its gigantic adverse impact on our Salish Sea (and inevitable/highly-probable, untreatable crude bitumen spill over time).

All kayakers and canoeists welcome. We're meeting 30 minutes before the event for a safety briefing for all paddlers.
