Weds. night mystery walk - View Royal/Gorge area

Let's keep up our hiking fitness this fall/winter on weeknights by doing some night walks!
(Meet at 6:00 at the Canadian Tire in View Royal on the far side of the parking area closest to Island Hwy/Admirals Rd.
We will be out for around 1.5-2 hours - expect a 6-8 km moderately-paced walk with some significant hills. Wear good walking shoes. Wear something reflective and bring a flashlight or headlamp ( some of the paths and roadways are dark and you may find you need a light to see the path/road properly!) The pace will be adjusted to accommodate keeping the group together :-)
*Well-behaved, on-leash dogs are welcome - please post on the wall if you're bringing a dog so we know who to expect :-)
Bring snacks, and water, layered clothing. (The 10 Essentials are always recommended!)
Membership for VOC is $30 for the year. *Drop in fee is $2 and you can drop in for up to 3 events before becoming a member.

Waivers: Anyone who hasn't already needs to read and sign the club waiver once yearly. I will have copies on hand at the event!)
