Scafe Hill hike (from Bellamy entrance)

Hello hikers,
Join us for a moderate, approximately 10-14km hike with around 250m elevation gain. Meet at the Bellamy entrance to Thetis (see pin). This is a good one even if there is some rain, as we will have significant tree cover! We'll take a mix of single and double track trails. Enjoy the forest - and also a pretty view from the top! What to bring: backpack (with water and snacks + the 10 Essentials) wear solid trail runners or hiking boots.
*If anyone is interested in carpooling, I am willing to meet some hikers at Tillicum mall. Please leave a note on the event wall before 10PM the night before if you would like to carpool. (Suggested carpool amount to bring for your driver is $5 if you are interested in carpooling).
IF I don't hear back from anyone about meeting at the carpooling location, I will expect you are meeting us at the trailhead!
*Dogs are welcome - just let us know on the event wall if you're bringing one :-)

*Yearly membership for VOC is $30 per year. You can pay by e-transfer to victoriaoutdoorclub@gmail.com or in person.
*Drop in fee is $2. (3 drop in's allowed before you need to sign up for yearly membership.)
*Anyone who hasn't already needs to read and sign the club waiver once in 2026. I will have copies on hand at the event!
*Reservations close 6pm on Saturday evening before the hike
*If you can't come, please take your name off the list so someone else can. If you are on the wait list, it's a good idea to check if you've been added before you leave work/home for the hike! (The system adds people last minute).
