Hello VOC participants,
We are looking for some enthusiastic new event hosts! If you are interested in the process and would like to learn more, please meet me for coffee at Starbucks Uptown 48.45516597508141, -123.37507652120279
Some guidelines to know if you think you might like to be a host:
-We like to get to know our hosts before they post events! I can arrange for you to shadow one of my Wednesday evening hikes (or post a weekend hike to co-host, or send you out with another experienced host)
-We always keep the group together and pace ourselves accordingly so that no one is left behind (clear event descriptions help with this)
-We are open to having hosts put on most types of outdoor events (ex. hiking, mtn biking, cycling, kayaking, canoeing, geocaching, scrambling, mountaineering, climbing, etc). We primarily host hiking events at the moment, but are open to more!
-We have an insurance policy for hosts via FMCBC, and a waiver system (you need to be willing to follow these guidelines)
