Forest walk at Royal Roads (RAIN OR SHINE!)

Hi Gang.

You've probably been wondering if there'll be a Small Dog Walk on Saturday. Sorry to be so late posting this, but I've been waffling back and forth about whether the weather will allow us to get this walk in. In the end, I just want to see my gang because I'm missing you. The walk will be in the RRU forest, so we should be mostly sheltered.

We'll start at the trailhead at Wishart Road and Brough Place. There street parking all around there. Then we'll head into the shelter of the forest and do an approx 4 km walk. As you know, the trails at RRU are all hard pack with roots and rocks to navigate. But the walk itself will be easy and fun.

I've posted a route map in the Photos section of this event, and also in the Photos section is a map to help you find our meeting place. Pretty easy to find, really.

Bring an umbrella (just in case, but I bet you won't need it), wear boots or runners, and don't forget to check in with me when you arrive. I won't have Sandy with me, unfortunately, so there'll be no name tags.
