Come make some friends and heckle some bad movies Mystery Science Theatre 3000 style! We recommend you come early for the previews, which is a period dedicated to socializing and making friends before the film!

Movie Starts at 7:00PM in the Private Viewing Room in the back of the bar near the bathroom entrances! Ask the bar where the movie is if you have any trouble. Recommend you arrive by 6:00 so you can find parking, order a drink, settle in and socialize!

Guildhouse is a bar! If you intend to drink, public transportation options include the the Blue and Green Light Rail Lines, which both stop at the San Antonio Station (Directions Here.) It's about a 7 minute walk from there.
The South 2nd Street and San Salvador Bus Stop (Directions Here) is just around the corner.
The best free parking spot is the I-280 Parking Lot which is about 5 blocks down the street from Guildhouse (Directions Here.) Parking is free after 6:00PM on weeknights and completely free on weekends!
If you don't mind paying for parking and have concerns about walking distance or wandering the city at night, there is a paid parking lot right across the street that normally charges between $10-$20 depending on how busy it is Downtown (Directions Here.)

You may be asking, what is a draft event? It's an approachable way to play Magic: The Gathering where we build decks out of random cards and have a little tournament! Each player gets to keep their cards.
Experienced Players Pay $10
Entrance fee waived for experienced players that bring an approved store trade-in. Get your trade approved on the Discord server prior to the event. Alternatively, contact geekhistorians@gmail.com prior to the event. We accept trades regardless of event attendance, however if you are interested in exploring if your trade-in qualifies for an event fee waiver please mention so + which event you'd like to attend.
