About us
This group is all about bringing those with a shared interest in video games together to build and deepen real-life social connections! Our hobby is awesome, but it can be somewhat solitary, so you can expect events that are centered around getting to know one another, in addition to events that encourage splitting up and enjoying our hobby out in public, at venues such as local arcades, barcades, expos, conventions, etc.
We don’t discriminate between ‘retro’ and ‘modern’ video gaming - it’s all fair game! But you’ll probably find a hefty amount of ‘retro’ focus from the members of this group, so if that interests you, come and learn about the legacy of our hobby!

Trivia + Meet & Greet
Intermission Beer Company, 10089 Brook Road, Unit A, Glen Allen, VA, USLet's kick this group off right with some great craft beer and trivia at Intermission Beer Co.!
Trivia starts at 7 and goes until 9, but as this is our first event, feel free to arrive at 6 to meet our fellow members and hang out beforehand.
This will be held at Intermission Beer Company (the Glen Allen location, at 10089 Brook Road, Unit A, Glen Allen, VA 23059) - they're tailoring some of the questions to our group - thanks Intermission Beer Co!
Each trivia team is capped at a maximum of 6, so we're limiting this event to 12, in hopes of getting two full teams.

The $5 ticket price goes to cover the annual cost of roughly $300 to Meetup.com, and once those fees have been re-couped, any additional funds will be used towards group activities and functions.
