Glasgow Games Soapbox
Reid Lecture Theatre, Reid Building, 164 Renfrew Street, Glasgow, G3 6RQ, Glasgow, GBAn evening of talks about games and game development.
We have a small selection of speakers from in and out of the games industry sharing their wisdom. Expect talks to be around 30 minutes long.
Austin Kelmore - IWGB
Austin is a programmer and former Chair of the IWGB Game Workers Union, he also runs gameworkersolidarity.com, a tool for organising with other game workers. He will be talking to us about workers unions, their history and future within the games industry.

Doors open at 6 and there will be space for networking before. If you are interested in giving a talk at this event or future events please message the organisers.
Our host for this event will be Glasgow School of Art, who are once again allowing us to use their very fancy Reid Lecture Theatre.
There are usually a few people who head to the pub after the event, so you can have an extended chat.
