Glasgow Games Soapbox
Details
An evening of talks about games and game development.
We have a small selection of speakers from in and out of the games industry sharing their wisdom. Expect talks to be around 30 minutes long.
Austin Kelmore - IWGB
Austin is a programmer and former Chair of the IWGB Game Workers Union, he also runs gameworkersolidarity.com, a tool for organising with other game workers. He will be talking to us about workers unions, their history and future within the games industry.

Bryn Dickinson - Shaderland
Bryn will be talking about her new game Shaderland. Shaderland invites its players to guide a little creature by building networks of rules which together conjure a world into existence - something like Lemmings by way of Zachtronics. Bryn will talk about bridging players into the strange way of thinking that shader programming demands, and the fascinating challenge of developing a game in Rust from the ground up.
