Think heists, shady characters, and underworld chaos. Expect twists, schemes, and questionable morals in a story that plays by its own rules.

From romantic misadventures to pitch-black punchlines, this genre lets us explore the lighter—or darker—side of life’s absurd moments.
Required Prop:
🧤 A Glove
Each team must ensure that their film fits into one of the genres and that they use the required object/prop. The prop does not have to be central to the plot of your film, but it must be touched by one of your characters or featured prominently in a scene.
Your film must be submitted no later than Sunday, May 25th, at 7:00 PM in person.

The 48 Hour Film Project will take place:
Friday, May 23rd at 19:00
until Sunday, May 25th at 19:00.
This is the official time period, and participating teams must complete their film work in time to submit it by Sunday at 19:00.
The final films will be screened on Sunday, May 25th at 19:00 at:

How does it work?
We will announce two randomly selected GENRES on Friday, May 23rd at 19:00 and one common OBJECT/PROP that must be in every film.
You may begin to write your scripts and plan your shoot immediately after the announcement. Time management (when you shoot and edit) is up to each team. Your team needs to find and use their own equipment. None will be provided. Any camera is acceptable. The emphasis for this event is on FUN and COLLABORATION.
You must deliver your finished film on Sunday, May 25th by 19:00 for it to be considered and screened.
There is no time limit for films, but please consider how long we can keep the attention of the audience. The average films are approximately 5 minutes.
Films can be shot in ANY language with English or German subtitles.
