Vienna Art & Fun Meetup

In the last autumn, Herwig and me started with organising that meetup group. Since then a lot of guests joined us, and some others even helped us with organizing that group. We thank all our collegues and all our guest for many interesting and nice hours together - visiting vernissages, exhibition openings, watching arthouse movies, but also hiking, cooking and eating.
From the beginning of that period the main subject of the group was shifted to a broad spectrum of cultural events. Additional to visual arts, we started with concerts, theatre, literature, movies, architecture, photography, and so on. We want to continue that activities, to establish a living community for cultural events and intellectual exchange.

Additional, we have a lot of social events, like hiking, cooking, eating, restaurant visits etc. Join us to have art & fun in your free time!
Some Vienna Art & Fun - events are free, others might charge a fee to cover anything from venue hire, meetup dues, organiser expenses, materials, professional services, etc. Any meetup fees are shown on the meetup posting. Generally, our meetups are run in English and German.

A greater group of individuals needs some guidlines and rules:
Please be respectful to guests and organizers. Please, try to find formulations that adress to women and men in the same way. No extremist political opinions are tolerated. Especially all guests have to obey Austrian laws, especially Austrian Constitution (Österreichische Bundesverfassung, Verhetzungsgesetze, Verbot der Wiederbetätigung, Antidiskriminierungsgesetze, etc)
No discrimination based on race, sexual orientation, age, gender, personal position, physical and health condition, disability, nationality, religion or personal beliefs is tolerated!
Especially: please join our efforts to help people with physical or health problems to visit our meetups!
If you show up, you accept, that a group photo might be taken (and announced here on that website) by organizers or other guests.
Please dont show up without beeing signed in! Please dont sign in, if you dont show up!
Please communicate with the organizers - that helps with our work! Sometimes we need additional informations after you had signed in. Therefore - please read your messages regularly after signing in to a meetup of this group!
You can bring guests with you, but if they are not signed in to the group, you are responsible to show them these rules written here!
Establishing that rules includes that organizers and guests have to comply to that rules. Sorrowly it might happen, that people who refuse to do so, might be admonished or even expelled from the group.
