What we’re about
This is a group for cyclists of all skill levels and types living in or near Vienna. We regularly plan different types of rides in and around Vienna. Whether the emphasis is on road cycling, mountain biking, gravel cycling, cycle touring, themed rides doesn't matter. At least one event every month year around.

Our meeting point is north of the Danube, right next to the bike rental shop at Copa Beach. We start our tour from there and cross the Reichsbrücke bridge onto the Danube Island right at the beginning. We cycle leisurely downstream along the river to the Praterbrücke, where we switch to the south bank of the Danube.
We continue downstream until we reach the impressive Kraftwerk Freudenau. We take a short break here - perfect for taking a few photos and refreshing ourselves with a drink of water. We then cross the Danube again at the power station and return to the Donauinsel.
Our journey takes us further downstream to the eastern turning point of the Donauinsel. There we take a well-deserved break of about 10 minutes to enjoy the surroundings. We then cycle back upstream until we reach the Steinspornbrücke. Here we cross the Danube one last time, switch to the north side and finally cycle back to our starting point in a relaxed manner.
