VDSG meets WiAI Austria: Building AI-Ready Data in Insurance & Healthcare
Details
Dear Data Enthusiasts,
Come to the joint event with Women in AI Austria at UNIQA on the 29th of April to explore how fragmented, heterogeneous data can be transformed into governed, AI-ready foundations that drive real impact. This evening we will hear how these challenges play out in two very different domains: managing workforce data at scale in insurance, and unifying multi-modal clinical data to support better patient outcomes in healthcare.
From Fragmented to Foundational: People Analytics at UNIQA with Databricks
How do you turn fragmented People Data into a trusted, AI‑ready data foundation? This session shows how UNIQA uses Databricks as a core data platform for people analytics, integrating multiple sources into a governed People Datawarehouse. We will explore how to enable a single source of truth for workforce data to support responsible analytics, scalable dashboards, and AI‑ready datasets.
Stefanie Blaschke, Head of group people analytics at UNIQA
Stefanie is Head of Group People Analytics at UNIQA Insurance Group, specializing in turning complex workforce data into clear, actionable insights.
Scaling Clinical Intelligence with STETHOSCOPE on Databricks
As healthcare faces a post-pandemic capacity crisis exacerbated by aging demographics, the industry's fragmented data—spanning clinical tables, medical imaging, and ECG recordings—remains its greatest untapped asset. We introduce STETHOSCOPE, an AI-driven framework built on Databricks that unifies these multi-modal streams to alleviate administrative burnout and drastically reduce the risk of misdiagnosis. This session demonstrates why the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform is the definitive backbone for high-stakes healthcare LLMOps, enabling the transition from chaotic data to actionable clinical insights. Through real-world case studies and field experience, we show how agentic architectures transform patient care and operational efficiency.
Monika Hujter and Zsofia Prager, Data Scientists at Hiflylabs
Monika and Zsofia are Data Scientists at Hiflylabs, and work at the intersection of machine learning and real-world impact, with a current focus on healthcare AI.
