What we’re about
What is it?
It’s a bookclub! We meet once a month and discuss a book (in English) — which, ideally, all of us have read on their own time, before the meeting. That’s it!
When is it?
Every second Wednesday of the month, at 7:30 pm.
Optional arrival from 7 pm, discussion starts at 7:30.
Where is it?
At this point, we are meeting in a cafe, and not necessarily the same one every time. The goal is to establish a core group of about 10 members or so, and then we may be taking turns meeting at members’ homes.
So far we have met at Cafe Raimann in Meidling, Cafe Weidinger at the border of Josefstadt and Ottakring, and in the summer outdoors in Stadtpark.
What are we reading?
We have a list of members’ book suggestions in a Google sheet and usually pick from the list for the next couple of months ahead. We read fiction and non-fiction, novels and short stories etc. We try to mix it up and keep it interesting.
