WEDNESDAY MORNING BIRDWATCHING/NATURE PHOTOGRAPHY - OBERE DONAUINSEL/ZINKERBACHL

This week, we will meet for our last Wednesday birding in 2025! The last days we had dense ground fog in Vienna, but the forests of Upper Donauinsel are still good places to watch different passerine birds, waterfowl, etc. Especially the bushes and trees around Zinkerbachl are full of birds even in Winter time.

We will stay inside the area of Vienna, and we will be able to return by means of public transport. You need an ordinary VOR ticket for Vienna.

Hints for photographers: the more interesting part of the excursion takes place inside the forests. You therefore might prefere light sensitive lenses. Focal length: as much, as you can carry!

We will meet at U6 Station "Neue Donau". Please take the exit towards Donauinsel. We will meet downstairs, near the exit of the building, this is practically at the beginning of the bridge over the New Danube Channel.

This morning walk is non commercial and no guided tour. You are fully responsible for yourself. The organizers are in no way whatsoever liable neither for your safety nor for your equipment!
