🍇 Wachau Autumn Hike & Erntedank Festival in Spitz 🍂

This time we’re heading to beautiful Spitz in the Wachau for an autumn hike through vineyards with amazing views over the Danube. 🍇🍂

We’ll do a circular route of around 8.6 km, from Spitz through the vineyards and hills above the village.

And there’s a special reason to go on this particular Sunday: Spitz celebrates its traditional Erntedank (Harvest Thanksgiving Festival). The village will be decorated for the celebration, with traditional costumes, music and local winemakers serving the season’s first Sturm with fresh bread.
