Opening meeting of Vienna Futurists

Hello everyone and welcome to Vienna Futurists!

This is a place for those who choose to try to predict, based on data, evidence and logic, what the world will look like in 2025, 2050 and beyond.

Vienna Futurists is the forum for optimists and hopefuls, for eternally curious, for those who never cease to wonder, learn and try to understand. For those who want to take active part in shaping the world ahead, today.

Let's meet to get to know each other and start the conversation.

I plan to give a half an hour to 45 minutes introductory talk, followed by about an hour of time for a general discussion (more if there's interest). Rather than covering any particular topic in depth, I aim to provide a high-level overview of the latest advancements in a range of areas - from transportation and urban design through biotechnology and medicine to education, food production...

I would love you to take active part in the discussion. Bring your knowledge and experience, ask and argue, let us all learn.
