Details
- and what I learned along the way :)
Max (Csuk) has been creating games for over 15 years. His latest title, Lost For Swords, recently launched across multiple platforms - including Steam, iOS, and Android - and was well received. In this post-release recap, Max shares key lessons from the journey and dives into topics such as:
- The viability of mobile platforms for indie developers (spoiler: mobile isn’t as dead as you think)
- How to make a game without an artist
- Collaborating with a publisher for the Asian market
- Building a game "in the open" and the surprising reach of web games
- The mental and emotional challenges of game development
- Game design insights and reflections
- Real sales numbers!
- …and plenty more
After a couple of announcements we will see at least 2 games shown off.
Games:
Tick Tag Boom / Julian (8:25 - 8:45)
Tracks of Torment: Shock Treatment / Kaddy & Team (8:50 - 9:10)
