Welcome to the Vienna group for theater enthusiasts! Join if you enjoy reading and discussing plays, as well as seeing them come to life on stage. This group is intended for internationals and locals alike who are looking to enhance the experience on stage with a bit of discussion. Nothing too serious though! Just a different way to socialise and get together with new people.
The concept is to pick some plays that are being/will be staged in the Vienna theatres (usually in German), and have an English translation available - and then get together to discuss them before hand in English. You can of course also read them in German. Also, no pressure to join for the theater excursion - come along for the reading discussion only if you prefer. 🪩 If you miss going to the theatre but feel like the hurdle to see something in German might be a bit too big at the moment, then this might be a good way to get going and enjoy the experience regardless of language barriers!
