Celebrating Unity: Olympic Closing Ceremony 🏅 and Perseids Meteor Shower 🌠

Details

Hello everyone,

Both science and sport require perseverance and resilience, and both are about pushing the boundaries of what’s possible while exploring and understanding the world around us.

I’m excited to share this announcement with our group, which embraces science, art, and philosophy in all their forms. What better symbol of global unity and shared human experience than the Olympic Games? 🌟

In a world filled with tension, the Olympics bring us a unique joy that unites us all.

Let’s gather at "Champions" bar (Parkring 12A, 1010 Vienna) to watch the closing ceremony on their big screens. Come and share this special moment together on Sunday, August 11, from 9:00 PM to 11:15 PM.

I look forward to celebrating with you all! 🙌🎉🥳

PS: After the Olympic closing ceremony, if we feel like it, we can extend the night by witnessing the Perseid meteor shower—nature’s own fireworks! The Perseids, which take place from August 11 to 12, are the most beautiful shooting star night of the year (if you manage to observe a clear sky in the northeast). I suggest we move to the Prater for that. Ending the night under a sky full of shooting stars, celebrating unity, hope, and inspiration would be an unforgettable experience! 🌠✨
