Social Hike XL: Iron Wells + Koliba

Amidst whispering pines,
Ponds cradle nature’s secrets -
Stillness mirrors sky

Bodies of water have always held a certain fascination amongst nature lovers, and this is no exception. From Vienna main station, a quick train whisks us over to the Slovak capital in less than 60 minutes. There, we first join a Social Brunch before moving on to our actual trailhead.

Expect iron-rich lakes, lush forests and a panoramic chairlift ride to the Kamzik mountain top. After taking in magnificent vistas from what is BA's highest accessible point, we'll follow a meandering vineyard trail back into town. Net hiking time will be ~3 hours.
