In this presentation we will take a deep dive into the architecture of ClickHouse to understand how this column-oriented OLAP database is capable of querying billions of rows per second.

Exasol Database - Why is it our number one choice for analytics projects?
In this presentation I will give an overview on the Exasol architecture and explain how this enables us to build a data warehouse based on the paradigm "SQL-only".
As an example we will walk through the historization process which undoubtedly is a key feature for warehouses in order to provide reproducible reporting - of course, without the need for procedural logic.
