🌠 Perseids Night Hike

We’ve already completed half of our challenge — and after a little break, it’s finally time to continue!

This one will be special: the Perseids meteor shower reaches its peak next week, so on Saturday, August 15, we’re heading out after sunset for a night hike to Jubiläumswarte to watch the stars ✨

📆 Date: August 15
📍 Start & Finish: U3 Ottakring
📏 Length: 10 km
⏱ Walking time: approx. 2.5–3 hours

The route takes us from the heart of Ottakring into the Vienna Woods, passing places like Kuffner Observatory, Wilhelminenberg and Jubiläumswarte.

At the top, we’ll take a longer break, enjoy the night sky and hopefully spot some Perseids 🌠

🔦 Please bring a flashlight/headlamp.

This will definitely be a different kind of adventure!

Before the hike, I will share a registration form there and create a separate group for confirmed participants.

What is the Challenge: we’re hiking all Vienna Stadtwanderwege and collecting stamps in the Wanderpass.

At the end of the challenge we’ll hold a raffle with prizes and a final meetup.
