This is to bring back the past Friday event where the focus will be on conversation and talk across different topics based on the feedback received from the poll.

Highlights:

• Conversational Vietnamese open to all levels, new or current members
• Objective of the event is to try to converse in Vietnamese with the topic of the day and talk about how it relates to you or your situation. Whether just starting out or not, this is the time where you shine with your Vietnamese. Above all, keeping it fun is what the event comes down to
• This event is not intended to follow a classroom type setting like an instructor led discussion but rather a “hang out” like social event and talk

Event Outline
o 5:00-5:30pm – group introductions including Q&A ice breaker/topic of the day announcement (i.e. food, culture, art, music, social, entertainment, travel, etc.)
o 5:30pm-6:30pm – conversation

Notes
o keep things upbeat, relaxed and fun
o Come as you are just be mindful of the above and try not to be the odd person out
o If you RSVP but cannot make the event, please update your status accordingly
o The host reserves the right to end the event early including cancellation due to a personal emergency, work related emergency, or for any reason the host deems as distracting to the progress of the group
