About us
Located in Jericho Sailing Centre, The Viking Sailing Club is Vancouver’s oldest sailing co-operative, providing sail training and sailing opportunities to our members.
We are a member-operated co-operative. Everyone contributes to the maintenance and operation of the club. We keep quality up and costs down through the spirited and generous efforts of members. Everyone has a responsibility to contribute a minimum of 10 hours per year to support the operations of the club.
The skills needed to run the club and maintain the fleet are many and varied, and opportunities abound to learn new skills. Whether preparing the beach fleet for summer, instructing, repairing foils, or serving on the executive, any contributions, no matter how small, are always appreciated.
