Join our next Buddy Program Meetup and spend an evening connecting with other LGBTQIA+ people looking for friendship, community, and meaningful connections beyond nightlife and clubbing.

🍲 This meetup centers around a community potluck. We invite you to bring a dish that reflects where you’re from or reminds you of home—a meal, snack, or recipe that carries a story and can spark conversations across cultures. Feel free to prepare something together with a friend.

More about the program
The Buddy Program was created for queer people living in Berlin. Whether you’re new to Berlin or a long-time local who loves sharing your city. Or if you’re already settled but you’d like to “step up” your relationships and engage on a deeper level. The Buddy Program values deep connections, meaningful conversations, and community care.

By combining in-person meetups, online interaction through the we are village app, and interest-based matching, the program creates a space for mutual support, deeper connection, and a sense of solidarity.

I’m not a new arrival to Berlin but I’d love to share my tips and tricks about Berlin!
Everyone, regardless of their experience, is welcome. Our first goal is to connect people.

Komm zu unserem nächsten Buddy Program Meetup und verbringe einen Abend, an dem du andere LGBTQIA+-Menschen kennenlernst, die auf der Suche nach Freund*innenschaft, Gemeinschaft und tiefgründigen Verbindungen jenseits von Nachtleben und Clubs sind.

🍲 Im Mittelpunkt dieses Treffens steht ein gemeinsames Buffet (Potluck). Bring gerne ein Gericht mit, das deine Herkunft oder dein Zuhause repräsentiert – ein Essen, einen Snack oder ein Rezept, das eine Geschichte erzählt und Gespräche über Kulturen hinweg anregen kann. Du kannst auch etwas gemeinsam mit einer*m Freund*in zubereiten.
Melde dich auf der WAV-Website an und lass uns wissen, was du mitbringst.
