Eric Sadkin (http://www.linkedin.com/pub/eric-sadkin/18/2a8/82b) is the Founder and CEO of PromptSmart (http://promptsmart.com/), the first ever speech recognition-enabled teleprompter app, which launched in August 2014. PromptSmart uses a proprietary 100% on-device speech recognition system which yields fast, real-time, continuous, and highly accurate recognition without the need for a data connection.
Eric recently made the transition from Engagement Manager at McKinsey and Company where he consulted extensively in matters of strategy, pricing, organizational and big data. He cherishes the startup opportunity as a way to participate in the new, dynamic, and disruptive - rather than incrementally improving large corporations.
Prior to McKinsey, Eric completed his MBA at The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania where he was a teaching assistant (TA) in public speaking classes. As a TA, he developed a passion for delivering public remarks and wanted to create the ultimate speaking app that would fully leverage today's mobile technology.
In his spare time, Eric enjoys the arts (opera and symphony primarily), staying fit, and immersing himself in the newest speech recognition methodologies and approaches.
