NYC Summer Open Mic Night

Hey VVC Community! Summer is already upon us. We hope that you are excited to get together to network and hear new ideas from our growing community.

Our next event will be an Open Mic Night followed by a happy hour. We are looking for 2-3 presenters for this event.

Here's a refresher on the "open mic" format:

The Pitch: Presenters will have 5 minutes to present, but it doesn't have to be a company pitch. It can be presenting a rough concept, seeking company partnerships and BD relationships, or even asking for advice on accepting (or hiring for) a role at a startup.

The Ask: Presenters may ask for funding leads, but the ask can be much broader than that: feedback on business model or strategy, connections to partners, help finding a co-founder or key employee, etc. The only requirement is that the presenter engages our community for help.

After each presentation, we'll have a 5-minute Q&A to address the presenter's ask and provide feedback. Happy hour will follow the presentations.
