VVC Philly Open Mic Night

Hey VVC Community! Our next Philadelphia event will be an Open Mic Night and happy hour on Thursday, November 29th. We already have 2 of our 3 speaker slots filled, so please let me know if you are interested in being a presenter.

Here's a refresher on the "open mic" format:

The Pitch: Presenters will have 5 minutes to present, but it doesn't have to be a company pitch. It can be presenting a rough concept, seeking company partnerships and BD relationships, or even asking for advice on accepting (or hiring for) a role at a startup.

The Ask: Presenters may ask for funding leads, but the ask can be much broader than that: feedback on business model or strategy, connections to partners, help finding a co-founder or key employee, etc. The only requirement is that the presenter engages our community for help.

After each presentation, we'll have a 5-minute Q&A to address the presenter's ask and provide feedback. Happy hour will follow the presentations.
