Dean Shub (https://github.com/deanshub) is a tech lead at Wix Stores, prior to Wix, Dean was a CTO of a few of his own startups, CTO of a blockchain company, architects TL at Sisense, ...oh and a proud Mamram'nik.

Machine Learning (ML) and Deep Learning (DL) are a big hype nowadays, but it seems that you need quite a big knowledge-base to get started. This talk is here to walk you through the maze of ML and DL through the eyes of a developer (keep in mind I’m not a data scientist and this talk is developer oriented). We’ll cover the basics so you can comfortably read and understand ML articles and perceive what are the tasks that ML are here to solve. We’ll explain the common algorithms of ML and DL and how they work, and see how we can start right away in our browser using JS.
