Competitive Ladder Challenge 3.75+
Details
A 10 player minimum is required for this event. The event will be canceled 1 hour prior if the minimum number of participants is not met. The fee is $15 and must be paid at the front desk. All attendees must sign a waiver and bring a photo ID on their first visit. We have four indoor courts available. Court shoes are required for participation.
Ladder challenge rules. 4 or 5 players will play 4 games on the same court alternating partners each game playing with each player once (if you’re on a 4 player court you will play with one player twice at random). If you are on a court with 5 players each player will take a turn sitting out a game. After each game each players points will be recorded on the sheet of paper located at their court. Once all courts are finished playing their 4 games the 2 players with the most points will move up a court and the 2 players with the least points will move down a court. Then the process will begin again. At the end of the meetup each players scores will be tallied for all games played.
Each player will play a minimum of 8 ladder games. 12 ladder games maximum if time permits. If there is additional time during the allotted meet up time open play can commence
Each week the scores will be added from previous weeks and a running score will be maintained for each player throughout the season. Your score will be your average score per game played. To qualify for the final leaderboard you must attend a minimum of 6 ladder challenge events.
We ask that you only sign up if you’re looking for a high level of competition and are capable of competing with the players signed up. This is to make it fun for the players that are looking for a high level of competition.
No-Show Policy (Effective Immediately):
If you sign up for a scheduled class and do not attend without notice, it will count as a no-show. We are implementing a 3-strike rule:
After 3 no-shows, you will be removed from the group.
To rejoin the group, a $30 re-entry fee will be required.
This policy helps ensure that spots are available for members who are ready to play and keeps our sessions running smoothly.
If there are 11 players signed up the last player will have to be dropped since 11 players is an impossibility for this format.
