Kansas City Retro Circuits and Assembly Code Night

We are putting together an informal gathering for those of us in Kansas City who enjoy working with vintage hardware and low-level programming. This is a space to bring out your old projects, whether you are currently debugging a piece of 8-bit architecture, experimenting with assembly code, or just looking to troubleshoot some finicky hardware with like-minded folks. We want to keep this low-key and collaborative, so feel free to bring along whatever you are tinkering with or just show up to see what others are building.

This night is open to anyone with an interest in computing history, from seasoned engineers who remember these systems when they were new to hobbyists just starting to explore vintage circuitry. We will have some shared workspace available for setting up boards and monitors, so come prepared to talk shop and share knowledge. If you have been wanting to get back into retro systems or have a project that needs a second set of eyes, we would love to have you join us. Please let us know if you can make it by clicking the RSVP button so we have an idea of how many people to expect.
