What we’re about
4V is a social meetup group targeted to Denverites who enjoy music, food, drink, art, classic films, conversation and camaraderie. The group is appreciative of Denver’s diverse, inclusive, dynamic, progressive culture. We are open to singles, couples, persons of all ages, cultures and backgrounds. We sometimes go to a wine bar, hit the summer outdoor music events, gallery and art events, hiking/snowshoeing, wine and cheese tasting, brunch and blues on the patio, holiday activities, or when the weather gets cooler – fondue and wine.
VINYL – Often old school 33 1/3 RPM. We attend all types of music events, City Park Jazz, Denver Botanical Gardens or Hudson Gardens or Red Rocks concerts, cover bands such as Citizen Dan, rockabilly such as Kerry Pastine at Lincolns, Flat Out Jazz with Cassey Barnett at LaCour, Freddy Sr. at The Pec, or any of Denver’s great jazz or blues clubs.
VINO – fruit of the vine, but also mixed drinks, micro brews, and non-alcoholic options.
VITTLES – Gethro, we ain’t talkin granny’s possum roast. We are talking small plates, local sourced, sushi, brick oven pizza, fine cheese, scratch bread / pastries, fondue, and dark chocolate.
VIDEO – Simply the means by which we enjoy classic films, often in the comfort of a group members viewing room with a potluck dinner. How about Casablanca, Attack of the Killer Tomatoes, Dr. Strangelove, Everything You Wanted to Know About Sex……, Easy Rider, Dirty Dancing, or The Big Chill. Any movie favorite that you would like to suggest?
