Gravelly Point - Plane Spotting

Details
Gravelly Point is a waterfront park known for its up-close views of planes taking off & landing at Reagan Airport. It has a direct view of the runway and planes are flying pretty low so you can get a great shot.
You will want to bring your telephoto lenses. I found shooting in shutter priority (S or Tv mode on your camera) with shutter speeds between 1/500 and 1/1000th with auto-iso gets you sharp pictures. For clear skies, you'll want to dial in +1 exposure comp to make sure the planes are exposed properly. I'll be happy to help you dial in the settings on your camera.
It can be pretty loud, so wear ear protection if you are sensitive.
Parking is free. I have pinned the map to the exact spot where we will meet.
