Sunrise in Washington DC

I've set up a route along the Tidal Basin and Reflecting Pool in DC. I posted some photos for reference.

• It's about $5 for 2 hours. You can use the ParkMobile APP or the machine takes credit cards. https://parkmobile.io/

Here is the itinerary (2 hours):

1. Parking Lot: Capture the beautiful twilight hours overlooking the Tidal Basin and reflections of the Jefferson Memorial.
2. Martin Luther King Jr Memorial: Capture the sunrise as it rises perfectly over the Jefferson Memorial.
3. Lincoln Memorial: As the sun rises here, it will beautifully illuminate the Lincoln Memorial.
4. Reflecting Pool: Capture the reflection of the Washington Memorial as the sun rises to it's right.
5. Korean War Veterans Memorial: Multiple statues of soldiers
6. National Park Service Stables: We will pass by the stables. If we're lucky, there will be horses out.
7. DC War Memorial: A small neoclassical memorial for the citizens who died in WWI
8. World War II Memorial Park: Multiple columns for each of the 50 states.
9. Washington Monument
10. Return to Parking Lot

Recommended Gear:

• Bring the widest lens you have. I like to use a fisheye lens for interesting perspectives. Otherwise a standard 24-70mm zoom lens, fast primes like 35mm f/1.8 and 50mm f/1.8.
• You can bring a tripod if you don't mind carrying one. But you really don't need one.
• Optionally, there are ducks and other waterfowl that frequent the Tidal Basin and Reflecting Pond. A telephoto lens is recommend for those.
