Is the PO role just too difficult or simplistic for the real-world?

Details

Product Owners have been around since the beginnings of Scrum. Seen as a pivotal role in prioritising and preparing work, amplifying the voice of the user and collaborating with the team to provide early validation and feedback.

The role needs someone with domain knowledge, time, attention to detail and the trust of stakeholders.

In 15 years of Agile I’ve found this to be the most difficult of Unicorns to find in an organisation, resulting in all sorts of patterns and pragmatic compromises. Some of which worked better than others..

How have you seen and solved this challenge?

Come along to discuss with other Agile practitioners their real-world experiences, hacks and insights.
