There is a perception that because Scrum does not advocate an estimating technique this means that planning is not necessary.
This myth seems to hold organisations back from committing to using agile.
Yet without estimates for sprints and the product backlog, it is difficult to know when work will be ready, or even complete.
How can agile practitioners convince senior management in organisations of the benefits of agile? To Estimate or Not to Estimate, that is the question.
