Parliamentary Pet Peeves

Carl Nohr, PRP will review a broad range of common misconceptions about parliamentary procedure. These are drawn from personal experiences as a professional presiding officer and parliamentarian, and from others who have shared experiences with him. They represent an accelerated way of correcting common errors in meeting planning and management. In addition to correcting the error, the reasons and references for the correct approach are shared. The format is a review of what was done (the error), what should have done (the correct approach) and a review of the reasons why (the references). Each scenario is thus a complete review of an important parliamentary procedure that is commonly incorrectly managed.
