Prayer Justice Network – TOGETHER we stand in the gap

Purpose and Vision:
As we commemorate Juneteenth, a day that marks the emancipation of enslaved African Americans and celebrates the enduring pursuit of freedom, we invite the Body of Christ to gather in prayer, reflection, and unity.

Prayer.Justice.Network is a nondenominational, nonpartisan, Christ-centered prayer ministry. This virtual gathering provides an opportunity for believers from diverse backgrounds to come together in unified intercession, seeking God's heart for justice, reconciliation, healing, and spiritual renewal in our nation.

On this Juneteenth, we will thank God for the progress made in the ongoing pursuit of freedom, dignity, and justice while recognizing that the work is not yet complete. As we stand in the gap for our nation, we will pray for wisdom, courage, and discernment in a time when understandings of justice, equity, and human flourishing often differ and when many believe hard-won gains toward freedom and opportunity are being challenged or dismantled.

We will seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit to heal divisions, confront injustice, and strengthen the Church to be a faithful witness of Christ's love, truth, and reconciliation. Together, we will intercede for our leaders, institutions, communities, and future generations, asking God to protect the progress that has been made, reveal paths toward greater unity, and inspire His people to pursue justice with humility, compassion, and unwavering hope.

Why This Gathering Matters:
Juneteenth reminds us that freedom is both a gift to celebrate and a responsibility to steward. Scripture calls believers to seek justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with God. As followers of Christ, we are called to be agents of reconciliation and hope in a divided world.

When believers unite across racial, cultural, and denominational lines, we demonstrate the reconciling power of the gospel and bear witness to God's kingdom—a kingdom where every tribe, tongue, and nation worship together as one family in Christ.

Join us as we honor Juneteenth through prayer, gratitude, remembrance, and a renewed commitment to justice, unity, and freedom in Christ.
